A trauma launched my family into this lifestyle, when my then 8 yr old son was kicked in the head by a horse, was knocked out, rushed to hospital and suffered a traumatic brain injury.

A catastrophic return to school led to our decision to try home education.

Here we found freedom, recovery and joy.

The sky lives in me

I am outside and the sky comes in

No barrier

Between mind and sky

I see blue and white

I see openness and liberation

I am at one with the sky

The odd plane may travel through

The occasional bird will fly by

I take the sky with me

I find peace inside and out

We find ourselves on this spinning globe

It is all beyond our control

Can we surrender to the beauty and the joy?
